 Climate Change Adaptation Specialist and Team Leader Position

The consortium of UN Habitat, Forum Syd and Save the Earth Cambodia has been implementing the TA 8179: Mainstreaming Climate Resilience into Development Planning; Package C: Gender, Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E), and Mainstreaming at Sub-national Levels since August 15, 2016. In 2015, ADB mobilized additional financing to scale up selected activities that includes (i) mainstreaming climate concerns into development planning at subnational levels in close cooperation with the Secretariat of the National Committee for Subnational Democratic Development (NCDDS); (ii) integrating gender considerations in climate change adaptation in close cooperation with the Ministry of Women Affairs (MOWA); and (iii) monitoring, reporting, and evaluating the effectiveness of adaptation investments in close cooperation with the Ministry of Planning (MOP).

The duration of the TA implementation is for 36 months.

We are looking an expert on Climate Change Adaptation Specialist and Team Leader position to join the team as soon as possible (if possible, at the beginning of January 2017). The full TOR is available on request. The position requires 7.5 person months for next around 30 working months period. Working experiences in Cambodia particularly in NCDD-S, strong technical and leadership capacity will be key criteria for the position.
